The agency is committed to creating spaces that naturally blend with their surroundings, prioritizing functionality and innovation.

We believe architecture is shaped by context and purpose. Each project follows this philosophy, approaching it thoughtfully to seamlessly integrate into its environment.

Our approach goes beyond aesthetics; we aim for functional, environmentally conscious architecture that inspires.

With diverse experience, we’ve mastered various projects, from residential buildings to offices, cultural facilities, and public spaces.

Make Sense

Timeless Architecture

The architectural approach within our agency draws inspiration from the unique context in which it is situated. We firmly believe that architecture should seamlessly integrate into its environment, taking into account local characteristics, existing structures, and the specific needs of users.

For us, the adherence to architectural quality is not merely a regulatory or ethical requirement but rather a company culture. Construction quality, cost considerations, sustainability, safety, accessibility, and even eco-friendly practices are all factors appreciated in the design of our projects.

Our guiding principle? Architectural quality is our compass, but we remain unaffected by passing trends. We steadfastly believe in timeless architecture that naturally fits into its surroundings. Each building is a story to be told, a vision to reflect, all while preserving the authenticity of the place where it takes root.

Our aim is to surpass the effects of trends and materials that afflict some contemporary projects, never sacrificing research and thoughtful consideration for the sake of image.

Think sustainably

Ethical and Social Responsibility

The role of the architect as a project stakeholder and their influence on the environment can be considered matters of ethical and social responsibility. This is a significant challenge.

In France, the substantial delay in societal environmental awareness – compared to our European counterparts – has been addressed primarily through regulatory and normative approaches. Mastery of this normative environment and compliance are necessary conditions, but the impetus for the project must stem from a comprehensive and profound understanding of the ongoing transformations in both society and architecture. While sustainable development inherently has an environmental dimension, its strong social dimension should not be overlooked.

The Dusens Architecture team is convinced that the architect’s responsibility as a project bearer goes beyond mere compliance with standards or the attainment of labels

Complementarity

Fusion of Complementary Expertise

Collaboration within the agency is built on the complementarity of experiences. Thus, each project mobilizes the skills of the team that is specifically suited to it. Reflection on each project systematically involves the expertise of each team member: urban approach, heritage and preservation considerations, interior design, program optimization, cost adherence, and sustainable design principles.

The DUSENS Architecture team often collaborates with partners possessing specific skills, forming a team of experts who contribute their expertise based on project requirements. These partnerships are founded on trusted and collaborative relationships that have spanned many years for some.

In addition to collaborators selected based on the specific needs of projects, the agency seeks complementary skills to enhance its expertise.
