Timeless Architecture

Ethical and Social Responsibility
The role of the architect as a project stakeholder and their influence on the environment can be considered matters of ethical and social responsibility. This is a significant challenge.
In France, the substantial delay in societal environmental awareness – compared to our European counterparts – has been addressed primarily through regulatory and normative approaches. Mastery of this normative environment and compliance are necessary conditions, but the impetus for the project must stem from a comprehensive and profound understanding of the ongoing transformations in both society and architecture. While sustainable development inherently has an environmental dimension, its strong social dimension should not be overlooked.
The Dusens Architecture team is convinced that the architect’s responsibility as a project bearer goes beyond mere compliance with standards or the attainment of labels

Fusion of Complementary Expertise
Collaboration within the agency is built on the complementarity of experiences. Thus, each project mobilizes the skills of the team that is specifically suited to it. Reflection on each project systematically involves the expertise of each team member: urban approach, heritage and preservation considerations, interior design, program optimization, cost adherence, and sustainable design principles.
The DUSENS Architecture team often collaborates with partners possessing specific skills, forming a team of experts who contribute their expertise based on project requirements. These partnerships are founded on trusted and collaborative relationships that have spanned many years for some.
In addition to collaborators selected based on the specific needs of projects, the agency seeks complementary skills to enhance its expertise.
